Watford has some claims to fame when it comes to spies and all things espionage – not least because Sarratt – the fictional school where British spies are trained in Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy is actually a small village on the outskirts of Watford.
Watford is a great place to host a treasure hunt or teambuilding event. It’s close to central London and can be reached on the underground (Met Line), it’s easy to get about on foot and if transport is available – has many interesting buildings, parks, pubs, and historical sites in the surrounding area
Our Watford Spy Treasure Hunt may include getting the winning lottery numbers for the next Lottery draw (Camelot Group are based in Watford), Finding the secret lyrics written by the Ex Watford Chairman – Elton John, meeting double agents in Casiobury Park, Filming enemy barges on the Grand Union – and if you’re lucky – Finishing with a well earned drink at the Glorious Grove Hotel
To take part – teams will have to learn about following suspects, gathering intelligence, ballistics, codes, semaphore, secret handshakes and more besides
