METROPOLY CHALLENGE – BELFAST TREASURE HUNT

Belfast is a fantastic, lively and historical city – a University city and the administrative capital of Northern Ireland. She is famous for many things  including the building of the Titanic and more recently – as the locations and centre for the filming of Game of Thrones.

Whatever your reason for being there – Belfast is an ideal city in which to hold Treasure hunts, scavenger hunts and team building activities. It is small enough to get about – packed with museums, parks, bars, restaurants, castles and just great fun.

As one of Europe’s key cities there is of course a Belfast version of the board game ‘Monopoly’ and in our Belfast Metropoly treasure hunt- the difference is that you are actually out and about amongst the properties and sites.

In the Belfast Metropoly treasure Hunt – teams will have to collect properties by making their way to key locations around the city and photographing their teams in situ at sites including:

  • Albert Clock
  • Cave Hill
  • Harland & Wolff
  • Stormont Castle
  • The Odyssey Arena
  • St. George’s Market
  • The Big Fish
  • The Dome at Victoria Square

……to name just a few!

Once we have briefed the teams then their first job is to work out their route around the city – how to collect the most ‘properties’ and where the clues are located. There always more to do than the time allow so planning and teamwork are key.

Teams will finish their event at a pre disclosed bar where they will hand in their equipment bags and answers and enjoy a refreshing beer(or three) whilst their results are marked.
