Amersham Spy Treasure Hunt
SPY CHALLENGE – AMERSHAM
Why would anyone do a treasure hunt or team building activity in Amersham – after all it’s not exactly a well known location.
Well for one thing Amersham is a charming and very old market town in Buckinghamshire – only 25 miles from central London. Its history pre-dates the Anglo Saxons and the town itself is packed with amazing old buildings – pubs, churches, landmarks, statues all of which provide great material for a spy challenge etc.
Another great reason is that it is easy to get to and there are several good hotels and conference centres nearby.
During the Spy Challenge treasure trail in Amersham – you will find yourself at some point visiting all manner of well-known landmarks in the town and surrounding area such as
- Martyrs Memorial
- Shardeloes House
- Market Hall
- The Chequers Inn
In addition to this – many of our Spy Challenges can and often do also include places of specific interest to your team and or company.
Having passed your initiation through our ‘Spy Academy’ where your powers of observation, code cypher breaking and problem solving will be tested to the limit you may then find yourself filming a scene from the latest James Bond in the town square, passing coded messages from Amersham Hill or searching for the vital clues in St Mary’s Churchyard.
We have many different Spy based treasure and scavenger trails already in place but each one is tailored to the profile of your group (ie age, fitness etc) and also to where you are staying. If it is a one-day event we will recommend and even book for you a suitable place or venue to start and finish.
